Upon receipt of your timepiece, we will send you an email to confirm we have received it. After assessing it inside and out for any damage, we then prepare an estimate for any work needed or requested.
No watch repairs or servicing will be carried out without your consent.
Battery Replacement
By sending in your watch to replace the battery you can rest assured that it will get five-star treatment. As well as replacing the battery, we will clean the case and bracelet ultrasonically and carry out air and water testing to make sure your watch is water resistant.
Partial Repairs
At RS Watch Repairs Ltd, no watch repairs or servicing is too big or small. We would be more than happy to undertake a minor repair as well as all major ones. If your watch only needs a replacement clasp or crown, perhaps just a new glass face, we can help.
Full Service
Your timepiece should be serviced every three or four years to ensure it functions to perfection. When you send your watch to us we will completely strip down and clean the movement, repair and replace any worn or damaged parts, lubricate where necessary, and then regulate and test the various parts of your serviced watch.
The case and bracelet will be polished if agreed and then ultrasonically cleaned. We will reseal the watch back to manufacturers’ specifications up to 40ATM/400M, and it will then be submitted for final tests to ensure excellent timekeeping.
All watch repair and services carried out at RS Watch Repairs Ltd comes with a 24-month warranty, and we will provide you with a detailed breakdown of all of the work carried out.
Strap and Bracelet Replacement
We will be happy to source and order an original strap for your watch or a generic strap if this is not available.
Dial Restoration
Often when vintage watch parts are no longer available, dials are one of the main issues due to water damage, discolouration or corrosion.
In this case, we can restore it as near to original as possible, bringing your favourite watch back to life.
This procedure is often carried out during a full service and case/bracelet valet.
Laser Welding
Our professional polishers can laser weld deeper scratches and dinks which usually cannot be removed by polishing alone which will return your timepiece closer to its original condition.
Case and Bracelet Polishing
One of our most popular services and it’s no surprise because you will be amazed by the results! We remove even the deepest marks from the case and bracelet and hand it back to you looking brand new.

A build-up of dirt and grime between the bracelet links can wear the metal away. As the bracelet loosens, the links have more space to move and grind together which can result in the pins in the bracelet to become loose or even snap. Our specialists can replace the pins and screws to provide better security to the bracelet.
Water resistance and pressure test
All watches repaired by RS Watch Repairs Ltd will undergo an air test according to manufacturers’ specifications. Divers watches will be water tested too.
